This marks the near end of GL2011. Can’t believe how many memories we’ve made, places we’ve been (especially in such a short time!!), and people we’ve met. Again, we are walking away feeling amazed at the response and the amount of people that have turned out. We are very, very thankful!!
I am so sorry I missed another show on the tour today. Doctor checked in on me, and unlike the other day, I am now taking some medicine. Turns out I caught a little bug that was trying to bring me down. Hopefully, tomorrow I’ll be back and not get anyone else sick while I’m at it. Meanwhile, I am in bed, drinking tea (which the hotel seems to be bringing me on the hour!), and getting a little stir-crazy I must say!!
We all hope you know how much joy you’ve afforded us. The love and the support you bring speaks volumes. I know we haven’t been able to express our gratitude to each of you personally, but I hope our smiling faces tell you all of that, and more.
Emma: David actually invited Rupe and I and we sat down in his office and he said, “You’ve got the part”. And oh my god I was so shocked. I just stood there staring blankly for 5 minutes going, “pinch me”. It was that bad. I couldn’t believe it and I mean I didn’t even think about it. I was—it was just too much to take in.
